THE RECORD
Direct. From Jim. In his own words.
Voters who have heard my name in this race and are engaged in the process have probably heard of some difficult situations lived in my 2024 state house campaign. Character assassination is a tactic in politics now, not an accident, headlines get written from one side, and most of what's printed about candidates is noise designed to make you wonder before you've heard the person speak for himself.
Let me tell you about my record. I have never been tried or convicted of any wrongdoing in my life. The 2024 matter was released without charges — the prosecutor declined to file. The similar 2016 matter, also politically motivated, was thrown out by the Indiana Supreme Court, and the rebuked prosecutor refused to refile. Even more disgustingly, my opponents tried to drive a wedge between my wife and myself and destroy our family that includes three beloved children.
I am the same man I have been for years. Same truck in the driveway, same wife beside me, same kids around the table, same country I wore the uniform for. That is the life. The rest is noise. The fight I am asking Northwest Indiana to send me to Washington for on May 5 is steel jobs, the cost of living squeezing working families, and safer streets in our neighborhoods. Judge me on that fight
Now back to the work.
Jim has said everything he has to say about his record on this page. There is nothing more to add.
What there is more to say about — and what Jim will say at every door, every coffee, every event between now and May 5 — is the fight. Steel jobs. The cost of utilities and groceries. Safer streets. Region first.
